Makes a perfect surface to accurately measure parts like apex seals, oil control rings and side seals, transmission parts and more..Wet some wet/dry sandpaper and let the capillary action pull the sandpaper to the plate. Then easily sand small parts flat. Also handy for sharpening gasket scrapers/shop knives.
