Sold per Rotor, this is a set of 3 NRS ceramic apex seals with "stinger" springs for 1 rotor. You will need 1 set for each rotor. @ sets for a 2 rotor motor, 3 for a 3 rotor. 3mm width for highest durability, 2 piece design for better sealing. Special "stinger" springs have been ceramic coated at the ends for longer life (normal springs wear out too quickly with ceramic apex seals). Ceramic apex seals wear very, very slowy, making them potentially be re-usable rebuild after rebuild in the future, barring damage. They are also much friendlier to rotor housing, letting them enjoy a longer life.

Ceramic seals can be sprung harder without significantly increasing wear, reducing blow-by on the Major axis of the motor where the apex seals are most extended and the pressure differential between chambers is greatest. This generally increases mid-range torque, which is something you can never have too much of in a rotary engine.

3mm seals can be used in 1986 and later 2mm seal engines if the rotor apex seal grooves are machined for them. This requires expert machining and will cost several hundred Dollars.
