Pineapple Racing can accommodate almost any request, be it preparing a race motor to the limits of the class rules, building a street performance motor for use with particular power-adders (turbo, SC, N2O), setting up a custom carburetor or fuel injection system, and so forth. We have even built an engineering model for development of a rocket fuel pump.

Engine building services start with a performance rebuild (to higher-than-Mazda standards), with upgrades added a la carte or on a package basis. All engines are built with brand new factory rotor housings (not used or re-chromed) and that $1000+ added expense is reflected in the price. We typically require a 50% deposit. Unless otherwise arranged, we rebuild a core provided by you. Prices do not cover damage to that core beyond the parts being replaced as a matter of course, nor excessive wear and tear that requires replacement or refurbishing (e.g. lapping plates). All engines come with a 5 year/50K limited warranty on materials and workmanship. We do not guarantee against "ping" damage, overheating, running it out of oil, over revving and other end-user caused damage or excessively hard use. No motor is indestructible. All we can do is build the best motor we know how, using the best parts and stand behind the craftsmanship. If you do damage it, for whatever reason, we are happy to pull it apart and inspect it to diagnose the failure and give you an estimate for repair or cover it under warranty (when applicable). Any motor left more than 30 days after completion without prior agreement will be considered abandoned.
